Columbus to Announce
U.S. Congressional
Candidate Mark Losey.
COLUMBUS,
OH – Congressional
Candidate Mark Losey unveils to the public his
campaign for accountability, common sense and
hope for Ohio’s 15th
District. Ohio's 15th district
includes much of western
Franklin
County and all of
Madison and
Union
Counties.
Unlike recent Democratic Congressional
campaigns, the Losey campaign promises to be
very competitive. "Our campaign will prove
to all of
America that we won't be
divided into red and blue compartments so that
special interests and the far-right-wing can
conquer us," said Mark
Losey.
Losey, who
was the first in his family to go to college,
graduated from Miami (OH) University in 1990.
Losey then earned a law
degree in 1994 from
Case
Western
Reserve
University in
Cleveland. He returned home
to be an assistant prosecutor in
Logan
County and later in
Champaign
County. While there, his
duties ranged from prosecuting felons to
counseling local officials on wide-ranging
issues of government.
Mark Losey
is not a career politician. But the impact of
this former prosecutor's campaign is already
apparent in
Franklin
County, and his support in
Madison and
Union
Counties continues to grow.
With a new voice in U.S. Congress, corrupt
special interests in Columbus and
Washington,
D.C. will no longer
control the decisions made for the families in
Ohio 15th
District.
“We're
running to win back the heart of
Ohio, in the heart of
our nation,” said Mark Losey.
“Ohio's 15th district has
escaped serious challenge for far too long. And
we're going to win with our message of
common-sense fiscal responsibility and socially
progressive solutions for the heart of
Ohio that is aching for
real change and
direction."
Mark Losey
is a Columbus lawyer who began
his career as an assistant
county
prosecutor in Logan
County,
Ohio. Mr. Losey seeks
the Democratic nomination in the May 2006
primary.
